Together with Northern Iowa Feminists and One Iowa, the Black Hawk County chapter of the National Organization for Women is organizing the first Women's March in the Cedar Valley, which will take place on January 25, 2020. This march will be a celebration of women and minorities and will be a commemoration of the passing of the 19th Amendment. The march will be a call to action to support legislation that benefits women and minorities. We will march for the ratification of the ERA, for pay equity, and for comprehensive rights for the LGBTQ community. We will march for access to our reproductive rights, to end violence against women and other marginalized groups, and to fight discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. Black Hawk County NOW invites you to participate in this movement. Will you join the cause?
